Is Dutton doing a Russell Brand?

    Bolt is a troll

I heard him on a podcast a while back, he seemed to be "out of character" for most of it, seems a reasonable and intelligent bloke. Though one or two "woke" issues were brought up and he seemed to click into gear and play his character, he should be an actor

Bruce Lehrmann revealed as man charged with two counts of rape in Toowoomba

Him being a bag and rub and tug fiend did not surprise me at all.

From what i can tell he posts sincerely, otherwise he's a very good actor.

The only final I went to out of our run was the 2018 Prelim, sat in a bay of Collingwood members, USA USA USA, FML.

Bloke on my local community page posted a photo of the Australian flag on his front lawn urging everyone to celebrate Aus Day. Hundreds of comments followed, predictable shitfight etc etc, that one has really brought the best out of everyone in our suburb!

I usually have fish and chips on Good Friday as i'm a Mick, but often will have a ham and cheese toastie for lunch because i'm not a particularly good Mick.

I hope it gets changed to a date that the Indigenous community support and then we can hopefully enjoy the day for once. I used to love Australia Day, the Hottest 100 (when JJJ was good), had a big barbie every year. I don't reckon anyone does anything these days really, it's shit.

You have to admit it would be a great way to protest by refusing to take a day off, I'm surprised no one has done it yet (that I know of)

Yeah I like the intent of it but wouldn't be very aesthetically pleasing, i'm no graphic designer of course

I missed this COVID character but I must say I'd like to hear more from him. I'm sure he'll end up on Sam Newman's podcast or something

No, I mean they're publicly listed companies who exist for profit, corporate appeasement would be the main driver imo.

I’ll bet the media don’t want the date moved, they get so many clicks and comments on this issue this time every year

What about if we make it January 6 in honour of the insurrection? Plus most people are still on summer holidays, win/win?

I'd like a date that the majority of Indigenous people agreed with to be honest, no idea how you could get consensus like that but works for me anyway.

Steps towards Treaty: the Uluru Statement and Referendum Council Report

On the weekend my 8 year old said “so Dad you know how there’s been all of the Yes and No posters in peoples yards?” I said “yyyeeeaaahhh” bracing myself for a conversation about the Voice, the plight of indigenous people etc He said “so do you think dogs would vote yes or no?” Pissed myself...

Play Nice Referendum - Indigenous Voice in Parliament - Part 2

I've got a mate who is a card carrying Labor lover, he's really quite smug about his stance on social issues. I told him I voted yes and he quite literally patted me on the shoulder and said "well done". I feel he gave himself a pat on the back for voting yes too over the actual issue. I should...

If they do move the date Jan 26th will still be celebrated by a certain element of Australia no doubt, and it might be a bit ugly. Not a reason to leave the date the same IMO but it will be annoying.

It's not even just what they earn, most tradies have been earning full time wages for a lot longer than uni grads. A lot of my tradie mates already had houses when I finished uni at 25 and still living at home with **** all money.

Play Nice Referendum - Indigenous Voice in Parliament - Part 2

I hear a lot of discussions like this, I mean there's every chance the solutions "we" come up with aren't what indigenous Aussies want or need anyway. I tried mainly to pay attention to what indigenous people were saying about the Voice. It seems more wanted it than didn't, was interesting...
