Official Brad Haddin thread - don't start any more

Willing to bet on something that's impossible to determine... Nice one. It would have been the same conclusion. It probably wouldn't be brought up for discussion because neither keeper has been turfing catches all summer whilst wearing the baggy green.

Particularly before he "performs". If he's showing the ball to the crowd after a regulation catch then dropping a sitter later then I'm all for it.

Day After Day After New Year Test: Australia v India @ Sydney (Tue-Sat) Part 4

Yes, completely situational. The only indicator of the quality of a keeper for stats would be a "difficult catch" stat, an "easy catch dropped" stat and a "difficult take to deny byes" stat. Those obviously would be to someone's discretion.

Official Brad Haddin thread - don't start any more

I've only seen him keep in the hit and giggle competition. He didn't appear to have concrete in his boots. Not easy to tell in that silly comp but I saw good movement and good hands. If he values his wicket and is level-headed enough not to make stupid gestures to the crowd when taking...

Matthew Wade is a Tasmanian who plays for Victoria. What do the WA guys say about him? I can't imagine they've seen much of his FC career.

The next in line averages 40 in FC cricket... I have no idea what they are waiting for. Enough has been more than enough with Bradley.

Boxing Day Test: Australia v India @ MCG (Mon - Fri) *Part 5*

The tail in the shed. Don't compare sports, that never works. I wouldn't put any money on that barring 60-1 odds minimum.

Boxing Day Test: Australia v India @ MCG (Mon - Fri) *Part 5*

Were you comfortable at 4/27? A lead of just 78 and only the tail remaining. If the answer is no, as it should be, then it wasn't a comfortable win. Almost every test match is won with relative ease at the end, i.e. cleaning up the tail. That doesn't make it a comfortable win overall...

Boxing Day Test: Australia v India @ MCG (Mon - Fri) *Part 5*

Any win by an innings, a ten wicket win or a win where the opposition were to win one or less sessions. A comfortable win would be a win where a team is never in danger of losing. That certainly wasn't the case at 4/27 in the second innings with Mr. Cricket on a king pair.

Tony Greig might get one or two. Tony Greig, "Tendulkar’s 100th 100 a certainty and what a place to do it. 1st Test played at MCG as well as 1st ODI" Fifteen minutes later Tendulkar gets bowled. Five minutes later: Did I jinx him...if so sorry :D

    Indeed, Dhoni extremely average especially away from home. Home and away batting averages: Sehwag H: 58.19 A: 46.90 Tendulkar H: 56.37 A: 56.86 Dravid H: 51.35 A: 54.81 Laxman H: 51.60 A: 43.79 Dhoni H: 43.00 A: 34.21 Interesting how Dravid and Tendulkar aren't bothered with where...

because he rightfully stated that a coach in the IPL is a complete waste of time and space so he figured he'd "do it himself". Not sure he took any extra cash for the role.

    Another captains knock from Clarke

I'm rarely if ever one to back those two buffoons but the criticism of Trott was justified. Ran out his skipper and then failed to get on with it. Scored far too slowly and ultimately cost England a better chance of getting a more defendable score.

Is Watson currently the most damaging player across all formats in the world right now?

Needs to work on his running between wickets, 3 run outs in a series is beyond belief. Running Katich out for a diamond duck which quickly led to 3 wickets for 2 runs in Adelaide was the first nail in Australia's Ashes reclamation coffin. Not making a big score in 7 good starts during the...
