Not that great - everybody is opting for the $20 option. People contributing to other player sponsorships are going in for $50 to $100 which means they are all basically there.
If we don't hit the goal in time (there are seats at a dinner included, but I don't know exactly when that dinner...
See to the left of your post.
PLUS, and I suppose we can discuss this if people get upset about it:
Prize draw is now directly proportional to the amount you put in. If you put in $20, that is 20/1300ths of a chance at winning a prize. This is a much fairer way to distribute the prizes.
When you see the options "Edit Signature" and "Edit Avatar" in My BigFooty.
The text under your name should also change, but it doesn't for some reason.

I'll just publish the link here for all concerned. Hop to it! We need $1300, with about $100 already in since I posted last that makes it $1200!
One of the projects for BiGFooty in 2006 is to organise player sponsorships.
We get some goodies which will be drawn amongst contributors:
* Dinner invitation for two, sitting with the sponsored player.
* Signed, framed, action photo of Luke.
* I'll throw in a couple of caps and things to be...
I live in Brisbane so I'll help organise it.
My thoughts are for a minimum $20 contribution with everyone getting chances in a draw for the goodies we get with the sponsorship.
$20 to $49 - 1 chance
$50 to $99 - 2 chances
$100 to $149 - 3 chances
$150 to $199 - 4 chances
And so on...

In any case I don't think this board needs a second mod at the moment. When it does, then I'll accept e-mails (Note: E-MAILS) nominating people. All of the mods will have a discussion about the nominations, with me making the final decision.

I think they are all mature men and realise the difference between getting the most out of your short football career and stuffing your team to get what you want in the short term.
Still, I wouldn't have announced it. He's shot himself in the foot more than anything. His admission makes it...
Had a great time at the game tonight. And a few beers.
Some fog-horn Adelaide player was bellowing at the Lions cheer squad to shut up and sit down until, oh, the third quarter. At which time he shut up and sat there with his eyes getting all misty.
Sorry to any Crows supporters that...
I had a great time at the game. One Lions supporter behind us was on his mobile ringing a friend saying how great the atmosphere was. "I think they've all been drinking," was his explanation. Which was true in my case.
