    Yes it’s all about timing I have learnt . Don’t want to cut too early as you end up cutting 3 times . I usually do it twice in some spots and the valley just once.

    I have a stihl battery saw but again I like the idea of just getting ready quick with saw and axe . But yes chainsaw is quicker and especially if you experienced using them.

    It’s more the set up with the chainsaw and maintenance ( I am always in a hurry and just want to start)I also like to wear all the safety gear too. I might get one of those saws ferball mentioned. The axe is good especially after North lose you can let out your frustrations on the wood lol

    Yes I always buy the better equipment it’s the know how etc which comes with experience of course. For the high branches I call the tree loppers

    Was going to ask if anything had fallen. Was doing a burn off the other day and a massive branch in the paddock near me fell , shook the ground it was pretty big. Still use axes and saws, chainsaw’s are fiddley thing’s especially when you’re a novice. Have a battery stihl but it’s only small

    Yes Eagles as cool as they are (not the football club lol)they can eat small dogs , little birds etc. We have 4 living somewhere up the back. I know when they are above as the magpies have a warning call and the all the other birds go nuts . Have some footage but it’s a bit too big to upload

    It’s massive that one it’s always rewarding when you finish . I cut up a pine tree by axe and a shitty saw which fell across the dam . Took me at least a yr I reckon pulled it all out by hand . I don’t think anyone else in the family realised lol. Felt good to finish the stump however is still in
