Next Tuesday, it’ll have been 4 weeks since submission according to BigAnt. No approval should take over a month from what I’ve read.
If it’s not out by Tuesday, I will inevitably be bewildered by the people who will still defend this company and believe everything they say
Imagine the block party old mate Rossco is gonna have if ProTeam sucks.
Eventually he’ll get to a point where one of the AFL games he releases is strictly positive feedback and he’ll think he’s a genius
Yeah I wouldn’t have a clue.
I mean they obviously couldn’t care less about Management Mode so I’d assume it just doesn’t get attention even in testing. Hence why it’s still a mess
I played 2 games in Management Mode after the last patch. 5 min qtrs on Hardest. Won by over 100 both games.
Where as on Play Now on Hardest, the margin is generally around 4-10 goals depending on opposition
Not sure how accurate this is, but I read that approvals from Sony can take up to a month.
So if Big Ant submitted it 2 weeks ago from the original date (28th), we should realistically get it by the 11th of June and no later.
Still perplexed as to how they didn’t prepare and allow themselves...
The funny thing is that every time someone asks JNT if there’s any gameplay improvements, he says he’ll find out what he can say and that’s about as far as it goes
The secrecy is next level and I’d image it’ll be the same with ProTeam until it launches
Irrefutable industry data and the like, ya know
He was just being a smartarse on the BigAnt forum
People were complaining that we won’t get a trailer today and he replied with something along the lines of “yeah because the day ends at 7pm”
The only other games I’ve played of theirs is the Cricket series. Don Bradman 14 was elite. I don’t really remember Don Bradman 17 but the Ashes series after which I believe started in 2019 have all launched in a buggy state with simple things like the fielders not stopping a boundary, the...
Why this time is it logical reasoning ?
Even you can’t be naive enough to believe BigAnt have never lied to us.
In fact, I’d argue there’s been more lies than truths.
They might be telling the truth this time but the boy who cried wolf, right ?
I have zero reason to believe anything they say...
Not to mention that we were told that ProTeam was ready to go 12 months ago
Bloody Sony and Xbox. Can’t believe they’ve taken 12 months to approve it 😢
You’re missing the point
The announcements don’t really count when the product has already released.
Nothing mentioned about ProTeam yet and if they do mention it at all, it’ll be tomorrow after its release
JNT on the Big Ant forum going
Cough*
(Link to Big Ant Twitter for all announcements)
Cough*
When they don’t even make announcements there lmao
They acting like we haven’t been through this before.
I don’t even think they expect it to succeed. Probably more for the image now. Imagine having a launch trailer centred around ProTeam and never releasing it.
Not sure of the legality around it either but I’d imagine there’d be something around that too
Yep, this is spot on. It’s clear they don’t care about their reputation. Can only hope they’ll have pride in their work from here on in. At the very least, release functioning games from now on.
Personally, won’t be spending anything on ProTeam and this is 1000% only because of who the...
For me, I think it’s the fact that the game was one of the worst AFL games ever released. To go from that to what it is now is the main reason people like myself now ‘praise’ it. I’m not saying it’s a great game, but it’s gone from one of the worst games I’ve ever played to a fun experience when...
Just played a couple of games and the tackling is much better. Centre bounce has also improved upon its last patch. Game seems a lot more chaotic with certain sliders which is great but I’d still like to see more numbers at the contest regardless of whether you can gang tackle or not. Players...
