Hi all, I'm basically just here to join in on the Fantasy competition, and sometimes talk about drafting and trading, that pick tracker post in the drafts, trading, and free agency section is incredibly helpful.
His asking price went up another notch after yesterday's effort.
There have been some frustrating years with Will in the team, but there have been some very good years too. I hope he gets paid the full bag and makes the most of it.
Yeah, agreed on that point as well.
The other thing is we've got Rampe, Parker, Lloyd, and Ladhams coming out of contract next year. So can save some money by getting them on lower dollars or trading/delisting (looking at you Ladhams). So the cap space we save from letting Hayward and Florent...
I absolutely agree, the picks themselves won't have much value at the draft due to them being pushed out.
But I suspect the point won't be so much to use the picks, it will be to package them up and trade them to teams that need the points. We don't need quantity, we need quality.
We currently...
At least the high interest from other teams will drive his price up and so drive up the value of the compo pick we get.
I've come to accept that probably both of Hayward and Florent are leaving. Here's hoping they get paid very well by somebody.
At least this year Brisbane won't be playing finals when they take him in the draft. Unlike when they got his older brother.
They'll still be vocal, while completely ignoring Carlton and the Camporeale boys, but if Brisbane made a Prelim or better then took Levi, Vic media would be talking...
I think some teams will be surprised when they approach the Suns about Lukosious and find out that they're not doing a fire sale anymore to sort out their salary cap. They'll expect full value for him.
Luko would want to be going to a team on a similar trajectory as the Suns, leaving Gold Coast...
Heeney and Papley will both be 32 years old at that point. Their next contracts won't be anywhere near what they're on now.
Similar to Parker (33), Lloyd (32), and Rampe (35) and their ages when they come out of contract at the end of 2025. Extending Heeney, Papley, and Mills in 2029 should all...

Sounds like Gulden and Rowbottom left money on the table for the others, and they've all talked about taking a bit less to stick together.
Sydney Swans midfielder Errol Gulden has put pen to paper, inking a four-year extension to keep him in red and white until at least the end of 2028.

So rather than doing work today, I figured I'd do an experiment and wipe my team and just see what a team looks like where I try to save cash for post bye pickups in the early rounds.
The plan was to only use players that I had already put a star against, as they had been players I had actively...
