    The downfall of Fox Footy.

I'm going to say yes. Mark Ricciuto is used for SA games, the Perth crew (Scofield/Pavlich/Loughnan) is used for WA games, VIC is one of the locals, and Lynch covers both Qld & NSW. Although to be fair, they did send Brad Johnson and Eddie Betts to Darwin last night, but that's an outlier.

Normally I'd say 'it's free so you might as well', but in your case, I probably wouldn't. Stan is not on there, and with Netflix & Disney+ they want you to transfer those accounts to Hubbl; don't know if you can just login without needing to do that, someone else here might have the answer to that.

Availability isn't the issue, rather the cost. beIN Sports was previously part of Kayo but now it's now $15/month by itself.

I'd like that too, but they probably needs that hour while Bounce is on to analyze the last game and see how that fits with the rest of the round. Hell, even then I'm not sure they get enough time to see the coach's pressers from that final game.

Show where Jay Clark and two other Herald Sun footy journos (rotating panel) discuss what's happening in the world of AFL for half an hour.

This. Have complete self-contained coverage on Kayo and use the other Fox Sports channels (e.g. 507) so Foxtel viewers can watch 'overflow' pre-/post-game coverage if they want. We know they do proper pre- and post-game coverage. Even as recently as three weeks ago, the Magpies V Hawks match...

    Midweek Tackle on Fox/Kayo

It's a good show that has a number of things going for it: • Only 30 minutes instead of an hour • A host that's able to keep things moving yet still adds to the conversation • Enough panelists to rotate through so the show doesn't feel stale • Barebones production; no distractions, to the point...

    The downfall of Fox Footy.

Don't know for sure, but I know on the HD channel they don't just show the score of the other game, they also show what channel it's on; either 504 or 503. For the longest time, Foxtel has been hiding the channel numbers of their UHD channels, so if they started showing the scores on the 4K...

More or less. It's great if you don't have a streaming device already, but yeah, if you've got a chromecast or fire stick etc it's a bit superfluous. The TV guide for the free-to-air and foxtel apps is nice, and depending on what apps you're subbed to you might save some money month-to-month...

    The downfall of Fox Footy.

I believe the radio contracts lined up with the end of the previous tv contract extension (end of this season). So I'd say Fox is working in the background to try and have those commentators available for stuff like TNF, FNF, marquee matches etc.

I'd like that as much as the next person, but aren't the only teams sheets available by wednesday night the ones for Thursday's game? The rest of the weeks teams don't come in until Thursday night afaik.

Most likely what happened. Otherwise they'd have had time to organize a fill-in host, whoever that may have been.

Yeah, then they can go back to using Fox Footy to promote the golf or car racing on Fox Sports. If anything, it may get worse next year when they get more exclusive games.

Interesting to see how Robbo goes regarding recent events. If the article he's put up today is anything to go by, he'll be quite ... 'emotional' tonight, I would think. Robbo: Nothing to see here as AFL drugs policy ‘all based on lies’ Other than deceiving the public, the clubs, the coaches and...

They're all pre-installed, you can't download, say, Plex or Tubi onto a hubbl. It's at Foxtel's discretion what apps are on there or not. trust me, i've got one and actually read up on it instead of looking at pictures and assuming things.

Nah, it's Sky/Comcasts/Foxtel's own proprietary OS (Entertainment OS). It's like their spin on google tv or other smart TV OSs but they pick which apps are on there, like with the iQ boxes. Even checked the open source licenses for the thing, only android references are to mobile apps. :/

I believe the political problem is Libs 'need' a majority to get the stadium through no worries. Labor getting majority is def not happening I guess, but Lib majority is not guaranteed. Not Tassie myself, just regurgitating the situation as I understand it.

First game with the new 'standard' Perth lineup of Papalia, Pavlich, Schofield & Loughnan. Note no Special Comments from a melbourne-based ex-player. Shame they can't organize a similar local line-up for SA games if nothing else.

4K seems to work fine via the Hubbl 'puck'. Though I was surprised when I pressed the Kayo button on the remote and it didn't bring up the Kayo 'app'; just a different Hubbl screen with Kayo content if that makes sense.
