Unchanged team…
Mots needs a couple of ressie games to find some touch and game fitness..
Keep building aspects of our game on today’s performance and we’re a good chance to knock them over…
Good win, no injuries…
Nice spread of players today with great performances…
The youngsters in Kemp Ollie Elijah Cowan all contributed well…
Emphasis on moving the ball at every chance was much better, our defenders got more involved with offering running options…
Allowed them some far too easy...
For all the great work & domination in that first half our conversion has cost us a solid 5/6 goals lead…
Fantastic effort pressure and ball movement, better organised this week around the stoppages & overall…
But our kicking into F50 has been ordinary particularly with the long kicks direct...
As much as I’d like to see Harry and Charlie both tear the game apart tonight, I’d really rather see a good spread of goal kickers from all our forwards and midfielders as well, Harry & Charlie 3/4 each with multiple goal scorers from forwards and a contrition from our midfield…
Massive...
DGB unfortunately looking like just an average player, particularly for a tall/KPD type, his output so far has been underwhelming, #6 2020 draft 22yrs 194cm 28 games into his 4th season, Hawks are crying out for a KPD, has also been tried up forward, so far hasn’t displayed much to be excited...
McKay is the only forward who could possibly go with the lizards speed…
Cottrell maybe if his near enough, we unfortunately don’t possess anyone midfield or forward that can match his speed when he goes on one of his runs…
We’ll need to try and apply some type of strategy/tactic in limiting...
I’d really like the club to stand firm and tell the AFL that we are set on a 7/4 or 8/3 long term deal and won’t be taking anything less, record membership & continuing growth, record & huge crowd attendances, prime time/tv viewing numbers, financially strong and stable club on and off the...
I agree that with most of what you say, but there are times when you have a teammate under pressure or about to be caught that it’s certainly needed, a simple block is beneficial to the team…
Sides/players throughout the competition still use it to great advantage…
Whole team could be better at putting on a Shepard/block for teammates, buy ourselves some more time and space, instead of being pressured caught or coughing up unnecessary forced turnovers…
Great news, club could possibly give him a game or two back through the reserves to find a bit of touch before slotting him back in maybe?
Was flying during preseason, looked in fantastic shape…
OUT: Cerra Durdin
INS: Cunners Williams, both playing high half forward help with spread & speed of ball movement, pressure, creativity and delivery…
Edit: Newman may be going on holiday?
Wilson not ready Jim particularly against tonight’s opponent
Kennedy miles in front of Carroll
Cowan still raw but played his role, improving every game
Pittonet was instrumental in our CB & stoppage clearance work
Besides Cunners who i thought should have played is one of very few on the...
He hasn’t played anywhere near what he had produced in his first 2 seasons, besides Fogarty he has been disappointing along with most of our smaller forwards so far…
Ollie also nowhere near last years level, tried hard but been pretty ordinary…
