I agree that with most of what you say, but there are times when you have a teammate under pressure or about to be caught that it’s certainly needed, a simple block is beneficial to the team… Sides/players throughout the competition still use it to great advantage…

Whole team could be better at putting on a Shepard/block for teammates, buy ourselves some more time and space, instead of being pressured caught or coughing up unnecessary forced turnovers…
