I'm not sold on Minge & Davies JS either. At 180k+ their JS needs to be rock solid to consider.

I have 'complete' version with Cripps & Kiddy instead of Oliver and Noddy floating around somewhere. ;)

I'm not overly keen on 3 Def rookies on-field either. I could upgrade a Def rookie to Coleman (or heaven forbid Milera) at D4 by downgrading Weller to Curnow for instance, but it's provably neither here nor there as far as overall points go.

I found an extra 180k to pay for 4 more higher priced rookies by downgrading Titch to Cripps. It's not ideal, but if the cheaper rookies aren't there, something has to give.

Most of the scores I've seen so far are not like during the season though. Steele score is nonsense, he should have been marked several points lower than Cripps. These early games are only useful for looking at roles, fitness of players etc. I'm certainly not making any selection decisions based...

The SC scores during these Kayo scratch matches need to be taken with grain of salt. Can't see how SC scores can be anywhere near accurate with the shoddy camerawork constantly cutting away to random people in the crowd. Unless of course SC have their peeps at the actual grounds, which I doubt...

I like Ed, had him in his rookie year. While he's a solid player and is a nice kick, he's never been much of an accumulator, even at under 18s level. There's a glass ceiling there that I don't see him breaking.

People were saying the same thing about him this time last year though. He was recently reappointed as club captain so he's not in danger of getting dropped anytime soon whether fans rate him as a defender/player or not and will still demand the bulk of the kickouts as statistically he was one...
