I don't see much of Freo but I am bewildered at some of the ordinary players on their list.

I blame Aish for that goal, prior to that he had 4 turn overs, just add one more.

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn : Nick 'the Wizard' Watson!

Richo is not renowned for great comments but he said the same thing, kid just needs to slow down and realise he has more time on his hands to execute the next play.

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn : Jack Ginnivan!

I do understand this and it is very noticeable, but is he applying a blinkered approach and at risk of missing a quick opportunity to get the ball out?

This is another great goal, fend off, one hand gather, made the defende look ordinary.

    Preview Round 11, 2024 : Hawks v Lions, 1:10pm Sunday 26th May, Marvel

I fear an emotional drop and the Lions don't mind Marvel. Phillips stays to release Sicily, we have to test these two in the same backline.

Welcome Welcome to the Hawks Jack Scrimshaw

Now we know what Mitchell's tirade was about, "give me a contest, and I will give you a contract extension" :)

Jacinta Allan - 49th Victorian Premier.

I used to work at the Dept of Transport, we had rail network maps for the next 30 + years, detailing all future projects. This white elephant was never included, wasn't even an idea from the planning division. Whether it is something that will be a key transport piece in 50 years is unknown...

And the one that we have, shouldn't be. Fair dinkum, except for the North Melbourne game, this would be the 2nd worse.

    Game Day Round 9, 2024 : Hawks v Saints, 1:45pm UTAS

I understand your comment but all the stats from the Swans game suggested we were getting the ball. So effectively we have played 2 consistent games in a row, our form and confidence is returning. Essentially, we should win today and continue trending in the right direction.

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn: Pick 18, Josh Weddle

There was a moment in the 3rd qtr where both sides were on one side of the ground. Weddle noticed this and slowly moved to the outer or bench side. Can't recall who had the kick in, if they had of spotted him, the number 23 would have been dashing down the wing again for an all time classic goal.

Calsher achieved more in one game than Sam Darcy has for his career. Was robbed a mark also, jamata who? I am happy with this kid.

    Preview Round 8, 2024 : Bulldogs v Hawks, 4pm 5th May, Marvel Stadium

No issue with your response, I think the greater concern is that many (myself included) believe that there could easily have been 10 others who needed such feedback. However in todays world, the duty of the coach is far greater than game analysis, it is also knowing the intricacies of personalities.

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn : Calsher Dear!

Fully agree, right now would be the worst time, you want close to our best fwd set up to support and provide confidence and assurance, that he is doing everything right. At the moment, it comes across as a dogs breakfast. Then again, he may not last long in our fwd line because he leads at the...

    Review Round 5, 2024: Box Hill Hawks v Sydney Swans, 28 April 2024, 12.05pm @ BHCO

Commentators have said the green whistle has been invoked. A mate of mine likened it to 6 stubbies in 10 minutes.

Has Pendlebury got his 10,000th possession yet? Just when you thought he couldn't go to a higher level, that was high end embarrassing commentary from BT, .

There's a. lot of Bulldogs about our side, should be playing better but are not, we all know the Doggies issues, are the same issues apparent at Waverley?

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn : Jack Ginnivan!

Was interesting earlier in the week, Sam Mitchell really backed the guy in after the podcast where Ginnivan wasn't feeling the love from the Pies. Sam read the room perfectly and played his cards effectively. Must say, he was excellent on talking footy last night, appears well grounded and...

Autopsy Round 4, 2024 : Hawks get Pied

The biggest issue is, do the coaches stick with the same positional changes at the start of the Gold Coast game? Can/should they settle on players for a 3-4 week period and see what we have? Ward struggles a little on the wing but showed more as a midfielder. Amon - everyone knew that Hardwick...

April Punting Thread - Sydney is racing on a good track - April Fools

Exactly what the trainer said but Currie thought he should try something different. What a pathetic ride, absolute butcher job. Add First Immortal which hunted the hot speed and you have to question how trainers don't persoanlly berate them in the media.

For years you have prattled on about our handball skills, you forgot to add that to your post. How many turn overs from sh!t handballs, I remember Meek missing a sitter to Newcombe which could have been a goal.
