    Analysis Inside 50s into goals

Chad is so far off the mark with this comment (did he actually say that?). Having seen him teach first hand, I can categorically say that Jay Schulz is both a good kick for goal AND a good kicking coach...

Toast Warren Tredrea - Elected to the Port Board (Football discussion only)

I don't know Warren personally (unlike you by the sounds), so I can only go on his public persona. The same public persona that got him elected. My post was simply stating that his public persona is morphing into a Ken apologist. That isn't naivety. That is fact. If that is all part of his grand...

Love Warren the player. Like Warren the commentator. Jury is definitely still out on Warren the board member. And naivety has nothing to do with it.

Toast Warren Tredrea - Elected to the Port Board (Football discussion only)

Yep. Timmy G had earlier give an amazing description of how Jack built them up for each and every game. Meanwhile Warren defends Ken and says it is 100% on the players to come ready to play.

Toast Warren Tredrea - Elected to the Port Board (Football discussion only)

So disappointed by the vibes Warren is giving on AA recently. Every time I hear him speak, it sounds like he's taken another sip of the Ken Kool Aid. Give it another 12 months and he'll be a fully fledged member of the People's Temple...

I'd consider going 16 a side. Would open the ground up and spread the talent pool. Should need at least 1 player in your F50 at all times as well.

Absolutely. They need to follow the lead of other sports and have an independent doctor sit in the ARC and have the ability to call time out on the game, and demand that the player comes off and does an off field HIA. If club doctors keep playing funny buggers, the HIA should be done...

Preview Changes & Preview - Yartapuulti vs Hawks Round 10 Sunday May 19th @ Adelaide Oval

Yeah I would. Rozee, JHF and Butters are our 3 absolute weapons. Why wouldn't you play 1 of them in the part of the ground where the actual scoring happens?

Preview Changes & Preview - Yartapuulti vs Hawks Round 10 Sunday May 19th @ Adelaide Oval

I'd love to see Rozee tried forward, or Jones tried forward, but I'm not holding my breath. Because the players are so set into their 'line group', and spend all pre-season training with them, structures have become more rigid and coaches are less likely to throw players around during games...

I just watched it. High tackle to start with. Then the bloke drops the ball. Then he still pins the arm and dumps his head into the ground. Peps would've got 3 for that...

Mead has to stay in the middle, on decent minutes. And we should ride Ollie's wave of renewed form for as long as it lasts. Once Rozee is back, I'd be playing him as a permanent forward. Would give us some genuine X factor.

I liked Campo's idea of a shootout. 5 kicks each from 40m out. Then goes to sudden death. Would be awesome!

100%. Would love to see him locked in down back. We look a much safer back 6 with Miles in place of Lachy Jones. They do seem obsessed with getting Jones into the side (when fit) though. I'd be tempted to try him in the SPP role (Jones that is)...

Preview Changes & Preview - Yartapuulti vs Hawks Round 10 Sunday May 19th @ Adelaide Oval

The ruck selection should be a genuine talking point all year. I'd be happy to mix and match between all 3 of them, dependent on the game style we want to go with that week and the rucks we are up against. The aim should be to have 3 genuine fit and firing options come finals time.

Game Day Kenny's Beloved Catters vs The Port Power Cheesy Macs at Pork Barrel Stadium - Woohoo!

So sad that it has come to this, but I'm actually hoping for a complete embarrassment tonight. An absolute smashing to end all smashings. An effort that really puts the heat on the whole club. Something that finally shakes Warren from his slumber. An honourable loss would be the worst possible...

If you told me that we could be rid of Ken tomorrow, but we had to give up Rozee and Butters as well, I'd take the offer in a heartbeat (as long as he committed to taking Charlie and Chad with him!).

Toast Warren Tredrea - Elected to the Port Board (Football discussion only)

Let’s be realistic - he will never get the numbers he needs on the board to affect anything. They are all there for self preservation and self interest. Warren’s only ally is that of member noise and public opinion. Time to bring some public heat.
