Why try to predict the ladder at the halfway point of the season to correct the fact that you got it completely wrong at the start of the season only to get it probably wrong again?
I went and it was a low energy affair. Perhaps 200 seats available and only 125 members turned up. Mostly supportive of what the club was doing; no pitch forks at all. Koch was his usual slick self but mostly went through the motions; the Warrent Tredrea thing was a media beat up that I think...
I am honestly not bothered by this. It will give us a glimpse into the future. We are never going to win a premiership with the Hinkleyball/Dixon two dimensional game plan. Any improvement, if it comes, will come from the midfield supplying a more multi-dimensional forward line.
I see in the Death Notices of the Tiser that David Baker, a serviceable ruckman for the Maggies in the early to mid- to late 1980s, has sadly passed away. Anybody have any memories of notable games he played or knew him personally?

Thirteenthmond? Richmond are the most over-rated club in the AFL. They rate themselves marginally more than the media does, seduced by a latent but largely unrequited fan base, and a club song. Hollow men.
Read the post. I just don't think Victorian crowds are as loud and passionate as they perhaps might have been. It's you people who started pinging me for being a Port supporter. I have always thought Adelaide crowds have been louder than Victorian crowds, pound for pound. Call us feral or...
