What are some of your favourite terms or phrases bandied around during trade week?
Here are a few of mine to kick things off:
Bounty
Heist
Sell the farm
Unders/Overs

Exchange
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with patella dislocation and more specifically surgery related? I recently dislocated my patella playing footy and have what's known as recurring dislocation of the patella (10th time in about 5 years) and after many attempts to get it right without...
Judd is in doubt this week after his knock to the head last week and resulting concussion. Begs the question, what was he doing playing on for the rest of the game whilst concussed?
Will potentially hurt a lot of teams, including mine which only traded him in a couple of weeks ago!
Mark my words, David Myers will be a future DT premium, particularly if he remains as a backmen in DT terms. Could make the jump as early as next year so be ready to pounce! :thumbsu:
Selected Scotty Thompson as my marquee gun midfielder at the start of the year (alongside Cross) and he is well and truly repaying the faith. Has torn the last few games apart and has brought home another massive tonne today(including a 6 goal haul). Covers all facets of the game with a plethora...
Beau Waters will line up against the Pies this week according to reports from Perth.

Eases the squeeze on the backline...
Some bloke just rang up on the radio claiming he had some mail regarding Essendon breaching the salary cap. I would say absolute rubbish considering I was putting us at one of the furthest teams away from a breach in the league. Wouldn't think it's anything to worry about, if true I wonder what...
It has just about reached boiling point, that is the case of whether to hold on to or to trade Joel Bowden. With a decimated backline and reserves who can't get a game I feel this is the week to make the move. He still has considerable value at 389k meaning there is profit to be made by trading...
Looks to have bottomed out for the time being (may fall further in the future if he performs poorly). Is he a premium/top 7 forward like he was last year? Is the jury still out on his consistency to score well?
My opinion is that he can repeat his efforts of last year, with such a good team...
Has a break even of approximately 124 this week, though Saints are up against Essendon, and his last 5 games against the Bombers have consisted of scores of 120, 114, 133, 86 and 62 (albeit in the NAB cup). With a career average of 95.3 against Essendon, a score of 124 is by no means out of the...
Is anyone still waiting on their membership? I recieved a letter a few weeks ago asking whether I wanted to renew my Essendon MCC Telstra Dome membership so I filled in the form and sent it back, but have not heard anything since. It would have been the week after round 1 as I was pumped to get...

With rumours beginning to surface in regard to his playing future at the Eagles, would he fit in at bomberland in 2009 and beyond? Would we want him in our side ahead of the youth that we are trying to build into stars of...
If the Campo pick-up falls through (Collingwood take first bite), would there be any chance Woey would find his way to Bomberland?
Once again, not sure whether I'd be happy with either situation.
This guy was impressive on Saturday night but looking at a few stats he doesnt seem to get the game time he deserves. He played roughly half the season last year, but was this due to injury or other circumstances? And is he expected to get more of a go this year?
