Bias post, most people that watch footy this year will know there are at least 5 defenders ahead of Mackenzie for the key positions. Taylor, Carlisle, Thompson, Gibson, McPharlin. All streets ahead.

Mackenzie has not been better than Thompson... No where near. Lonergan, maybe. Mackenzie not even in contention for AA.

I think we all (including me) are underrating Josh Gibson's year, he has been suer again, and is yet to be beaten from memory. He would definitely be in the top 3 key defenders IMO as it stands.

Love the way he plays, so natural and exciting to watch. They have plenty of other exciting youngsters, so ridiculous comment. Shiel, Treloar, Coniglo, Whitfield will all be fantastic. Shiel for me is the best to watch out of the youngsters, aside from Cameron.

Cameron > Carlisle in long term IMO.
