I'd just like a chance to see the Big V more than anything else. Insane midfield - Daicos, Bont, Butters, Walsh, Reid . As for the injury worries, we've been pinging hammies at training anyway.
I think a Big V vs S.A game would still generate interest. Adelaide Oval earlier in the season perhaps. We don't get to see an elite game otherwise, just club vs club.
There isn't much to say about that one. If it was T20 we'd have had a great night. I think it was mostly the Swannies, once they found a gear they were pretty impressive. I'm liking E Hollands, some of his handball is very good. Newman can take a bow. God awful night, seated in the Swans...
Cats F1 and Smedts for Tuohy and our F2. Considering where the picks ended up it was a terrible trade really. Not sure why SOS used Tuohy for trade chips, worked out better for Zac though.
He keeps getting brought up as like the club missed out. Out of E Hollands, Cottrell, Martin, Owies, I think he takes Owies spot. Doesn't have a tank for the wing. Stengle I agree, averaging 1.6 goals and can mark.
Heeney, Blakey and Gulden the 3 to put the time into. Minimise their influence and we'll have a good shot at it. I guess Acres gets first crack at Gulden, the other 2 are tough match ups. The rains finally stopped but track will probably still be slow by Friday. Let's see how we go as...
As far as hamstrings go, there's a couple of examples from the NRL in the last 24 hrs that probably illustrate how problematic they become when recurring. Nathan Cleary and Tommy Turbo, 2 of the games biggest names. Turbo even went to see Bill Knowles in the U.S post season and still...
As an abstract thought, I wouldn't mind seeing how Charlie goes in a full game down back, playing the Lever role. He's so good in his few minutes back there it'd be worth a game or 2 to see how he goes as second banana to Weiters.
I was waiting for someone to bob up and ice that for us. Still waiting... Made it harder than it should have been, great first quarter though. Not one for the pool room, but 4 points. Petracca kept them in it on his own. We looked a lot better in defence with Gov back, Kemp did well and...
Another grind coming up with this one. We must be due a win in a close one again. We've missed Gov , and Martin is usually pretty good first up from a spell.
We did well to have a chance at winning that with 2 minutes left, Pies were much better after half time, didn't put us away though. We've headed down last year's path of contested dominance at the cost of turnover dominance. We'll win our share but not the whole thing if we don't right the...
Feels like we've lost the ground we made up earlier in the year with our turnover game. They slaughtered us with it that quarter. It's a fine line with selection.
