I went back and had a look at a conversation in the thread about our the future of the club last year. A few including I detailed why Richards would work as a mid. There were some very popular posters who shit canned the idea. Even calling it nuffy level. No matter how popular some posters...

Can we rotate the mids ffs. Gets Garcia and West going through for their development

Why wouldnt Richards rotate between mid and half back. It's like the coaches think there is a rule you can only rotate mids through half forward. Just dumb coaching. We have to take some short term pain with Richards which is fine, but the coaches need to mitigate it.

Physically beat up by a younger team. This whole group (except Libba) just doesn't give that extra effort in all parts of the game. They are comfortable and don't care to show it for the footy department. I don't know how many more times we need to see this play out until change.

Can we have some sort of forward structure for when our half backs run it out. FFS Our game plan: give it to Dale so we can run it out. Forwards: all must defend the middle of the ground. Don't even think about being an option for a quick forward entry We are playing against our strengths
