Yet you keep responding anyway. If you don't care don't reply. Better yet, if you don't want to read anything I say on here, then use the 'ignore' function. It makes no difference to me.
I’m just as entitled to respond to a discussion thread on the main board as anyone else, especially if and...
The current situation with North Melbourne is completely different to the conditions in 1996. It will take a little bit of time but North will climb out of their current on-field malaise. As a Melbourne-based club they won't be going anywhere.
What points? Relocations are difficult to achieve. There's only been one. North are very unlikely to consider relocation for reasons I have already described.
North Melbourne are very unlikely to relocate. If they didn't go to the Gold Coast in 2008, they're not going now or in the near...
Dear oh dear. That didn't happen either.
One relocation. 1982. Voluntary.
One relocation only. And that was voluntary.
If you didn't make so many errors, I wouldn't need to correct them.
There will be a 20th AFL club before any relocation of a Melbourne club to...well.... anywhere outside...
Once.
And even that one relocation was at the behest of the South Melbourne board in 1981, when they proposed to play all 1982 home games in Sydney and all away games at the then VFL Park under lights. The VFL approved the South Melbourne proposal to play 11 home games in Sydney.
And failed...
I'm well aware of what each received. Where do you think I got the figures I quoted earlier?
Of course not. Where did I suggest that?
North Melbourne won't touch that with a bargepole.
They received an AFL offer to relocate to the Gold Coast, which was rejected. A possible relocation to...
The AFL's not running out of money, that it needs to make cuts to raise money for a possible 20th team, which is unlikely before 2031 at the earliest. In September 2022 the AFL signed a seven year $4.5 billion TV rights deal to run between 2025 and 2031.
The TV rights deal is worth $643...
And how would science go about 'discovering' that?
The two purposes of life we already know plenty about, through science, are survival and reproduction.
There is certainly no evidence that there is some overall plan (or purpose) to make life more complex (through mutation) so that it can...
I'm very relaxed.
Existence doesn't need a purpose. I guess it is comforting to believe that life has a meaning and purpose but it is very likely to be just a random act in a cold, unfeeling universe. I guess religious belief / faith brings some sort of comfort that one's life isn't meaningless.
