I would love it if we did win and kept a slim chance alive, but I also won’t be dissatisfied if we continue to play the way we have been these past 5 or so weeks and miss out. Effort, game style and getting games into our young brigade are what I need, finals is what I’d like.

I don’t care who it’s on. Freo, at the MCG will not draw a crowd. That’s it, that’s all I said. One more time - Fremantle, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, will not be a game with a high attendance of spectators.

Average attendance at the MCG for Freo is 28,131. So when I say, Freo at the G won’t draw a big crowd, yeah, you know, I’m right.

Freo would not draw a crowd to the MCG for a regular season game.

Think you are being harsh on SYL, he’s just an optimistic fan, every club has them, every club needs them. From what I’ve seen, they have never said anything that is beyond possibility, certainly glass half full though.

JHF is also playing pretty well, and they chose him. It is unfair to suggest that they shouldn’t have picked him, he was the consensus pick. That he didn’t stay isn’t really on them.
