Duursma isnt a key position player from what Ive seen. Looks like a tallish winger - would need to put on a lot of size to be a key position player. Also doubt he goes number 1 going on his recent form.

Catani are going nowhere. They are only 20 minutes from Pakenham and Cranbourne. They also have 4 junior teams. Have heard Hill End might be interested in joining EDFL but once again highly unlikely that the EDFL clubs let them in expecially as they dont have junior teams.

Ellinbank didnt let Bunyip in last year and thats a club with significant history associated with the EDFL. They voted 0-11 to let Korumburra in a couple of years ago. There is zero chance that EDFL clubs would vote Mirboo Nth or Newborough in to their league.

Really enjoying first year of watching these games - really good quality footy but have a few queries. Why arent they on the play AFL app like every other league? Why no stand rule? Why 25? metre penalties instead of 50? Why only 2 field umpires? Why no canteen at some games given the size of...
