    Umpiring

Come on! You give the player with the ball the advantage. Tackled, spin round five times, taken to the ground, get back up, have a coffee, fake a handball, have chat then dispose of the ball. Unless of course they get tackled and pinged in 0.000046834 seconds. Then that's OK as well, just...

Trade period / National Draft 2024

It isn't hard to do these deals of scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. In this case both Brisbane and us would win. The AFL can't prove anything evil, as nothing evil happened. We preferred someone else, and Brisbane did smart trading. I will be interested in what North do though. They...

Opinion Who is the greatest Richmond player of all time?

Hart was amazing. Genuinely in the same class as Dusty. His knee injury robbed him of years of super performance. But even then he still made multiple defenders look like idiots.

Autopsy Roast vs Brisbane & Changes for Dreamtime game R11

You still have a 'milkman'. Or is that what the wife tells you 'Oh don't worry about all this white stuff, it's just the milkman spilled some.' ;)

Autopsy Roast vs Brisbane & Changes for Dreamtime game R11

Missed the start of the game, switched it on. Nothing to see here, so had a nice cuppa tea and snuggled with my lovely wife. Did I miss anything?

    Mid season draft 2024

Don't know. Right now we need a KPF. But below AFL standard KPF are worthless. As for mids a large bodies inside mid with speed would fit our list needs - until we pick Smillie. For one I know something about RCD would fit. But there are a lot fo players out there and I hope the club looks in...

    Player Watch #15: Jayden Short

He is a mature body. He is a leader. Not playing well. If we lose all of our mature players then we are stuffed for a long time. We need to keep them to hand over to a new group. This has been shown over and over again. Keeping a mature leader on the slide is a good thing, as long as you only...

You have to keep the leadership and mature bodies to fast track the redevelopment. Getting rid of your leadership, even if under performing causes North's situation. We should trade some guys, but we have to keep a really solid core.

Player Watch #27 Thomson Dow - signed to 2024

Dow plays in the guts. But alongside a genuine bull. Dow adds evasiveness and the ability to grunt. He is not grunt itself. In a well structured midfield he has a spot. Without the inside bulls he is playing a role he isn't suited to.

    Mid season draft 2024

I always thought that RCD had the tools, except for the smarts. he always seemed a little off with his timing and positioning to me. One solution to those problems is just to play footy at a good level and learn. Also good coaching to help him learn what to do in what situation. If he has...

    Coach Richmond under Adem Yze

We're where we are because we didn't get more talent, but mainly right now because our entire starting midfield and KPFs (until Balta came back, are out. The team is a mess due to injury. Which might be due to injury prone players, poor conditioning etc, or bad luck, or all 3. The future for...
