It’ll be a slight worry when Balta is in Ruck because we are giving up our advantage which is stretching the Blues backline, only 1 tall up there makes it easy for them to double team, but let’s see what happens. Looks like Dusty will play mainly forward as the 3rd tall

Yep I think we we look a tall short. Welcome back from long term injury Lynch, ball going to bombed on your head all night 3 or 4 on 1.

Wishful thinking that legends like Grimes would be dropped after one game. Broad has been great over his career as well, even MacIntosh up to a point. They might not be there forever, but these sorts always play early in the season.

Pretty good side, Pickett for sub I'd reckon.

I'll give it to Yze, apart from dropping kids (Banks) and protecting the older players (Grimes) he does learn quickly.

Going with fewer talls, dropping Kosi, Ross in the starting lineup are all good moves.

Aside from D Rioli, any of those on the bench could be used as the sub.

Looks like he's about to make Seth Campbell the sub off the back of 2 goals and a good game.

That wouldn't be a good move. Generally the last name player is the sub

He’s learnt absolutely nothing. He’s kicked out two new recruits who were awful and two kids where one in Ryan should never have played. He’s made no hard calls on the old premiership heroes in Prestia, Kmac and Grimes particularly. Gutless selection and how Brown is not in our side is disturbing. He should have 15 games under hIs belt by now . The problem with Yze atm is he thinks he has a final 8 side.

True but reckon their midfield will torch us unless Bolton, Dusty and co can stand up and be counted. Having nightmares of Rowells demolition job last week.
Nice to have Lefau in the side to add physical presence although from all reports Nank can barrel a couple of the players in the middle !

Liam George showed a bit last week and looking forward to seeing Koschitzke, Cumberland and Lefau fight for a CHF spot in the AFL and the HF at their feet push for selection. EXCITING TIMES!

So basically Yze has not dropped anyone for that abysmal performance. The team selection looks very familiar so he must not have full control or he’s an idiot.

He's clearly dropped 4 players ffs. The worst performing 4, relative to our available ins and to keep some semblance of team balance and experience. Dropping any more than that is ridiculous after one round.

4 goal win for the mighty tiges coming up. Nothing surer.

He hasn’t dropped anyone bc three of the four players are vfl players at best. BANKS is a kid in development.
He’s kept the relics of 2020 in Grimes , Prestia and Kmac. He has as much imagination as Mini .
